User Data Deletion Instructions

According to the Facebook Platform Data Policy, Meta Platform Terms, and global privacy regulations (GDPR), Hungers Marketing provides clear and transparent instructions on how users can request the deletion of their personal data collected through our Meta applications, Facebook Login, Instagram Graph API integrations, and website.

1. Overview & Commitment to Privacy

Hungers Marketing ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is dedicated to protecting your personal information. In compliance with the Meta Platform Terms (Facebook & Instagram) and applicable data protection legislation including the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this document provides step-by-step instructions for revoking app access and requesting complete removal of your data from our systems.

2. What Data We Collect & Process

When you interact with our website or connect your Meta accounts (Facebook Pages and linked Instagram Business accounts) to our platform, we may collect and process:

  • Meta Account & Page Details: User name, Facebook User ID, connected Facebook Page IDs and names, Instagram Business account IDs, and encrypted OAuth authorization tokens required to manage social analytics and publishing.
  • Lead & Contact Inquiries: Contact information (full name, email address, phone number, company name, and project requirements) submitted via our quote and consultation forms.
  • Website Analytics: Anonymized usage data, page views, and attribution indicators.

3. Method 1: Remove Hungers Marketing App from Facebook (Instant Revocation)

If you connected your Facebook account or Facebook Page to Hungers Marketing and wish to revoke access and remove the app, you can do so directly from your Facebook settings:

  1. Log in to your Facebook profile on desktop or mobile.
  2. Click on your profile photo in the top right corner and select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, navigate to Your Activity and click on Apps and Websites (or visit facebook.com/settings?tab=applications).
  4. Locate Hungers Marketing in the list of active apps.
  5. Click the Remove button next to the application.
  6. Confirm the prompt. You may optionally check the option allowing Facebook to notify us that the connection was deleted.
  7. Click Remove to complete the process.

Once removed, Meta immediately revokes all permissions and access tokens. Hungers Marketing will no longer be able to access any information from your Facebook or Instagram profile.

4. Method 2: Request Complete Server-Side Data Deletion

If you would like Hungers Marketing to permanently delete all records of your personal information, encrypted access tokens, connected account profiles, customer tags, and submission history stored in our databases, please submit a deletion request:

  • Via Email: Send a deletion request to contact@hungersmarketing.com.
  • Information to include:
    • Your full name
    • The email address associated with your account or inquiry
    • Your Facebook User ID or Connected Page ID / Instagram handle (if applicable)
  • In-App Disconnection: If you have administrative access to the Hungers Marketing portal, you can navigate to Social Accounts and click Disconnect to instantly purge stored tokens and associated social profile records.

5. Deletion Timeline & Confirmation

We process all user data deletion requests promptly and transparently:

  • We will acknowledge your deletion request via email within 24 business hours.
  • All personal data, credentials, tokens, and associated database records will be permanently erased within 48 to 72 hours, and in all cases no later than 30 calendar days from the request date, in compliance with Meta Platform Terms and GDPR.
  • Upon successful deletion, you will receive a final confirmation email containing a unique Deletion Confirmation Code verifying that your data has been purged.

6. Data Retention Policy & Legal Exceptions

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data to third parties. Once data is permanently deleted from our primary databases and production caches, it cannot be recovered.

Legal Exceptions: Any minimal transaction records, tax invoices, or contracts required to be retained under applicable UK (HMRC) or Pakistan statutory laws will be securely archived solely for legal and audit compliance, and will never be processed for marketing purposes.
